Embrace Renewal and Rebirth: The Divine Feminine Calls You to Celebrate and Honor the Spring Equinox
A Time Of New Beginnings, Growth, And Renewal
Spring is a time of new beginnings, growth, and renewal. It is the season when the earth awakens from its slumber and begins to bloom once again. Every year, I look forward to witnessing the orchids in my kitchen window and the flowers in our garden bloom again. It’s a reminder that the care I gave over the winter is now coming to fruition. As the days grow longer and the weather warms, it’s easy to feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for all the new possibilities that this season brings.
At The Heart Of The Spring Equinox Is The Divine Feminine
The Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara, is a celebration of the balance between light and darkness and the earth’s awakening from its slumber. At the heart of the Spring Equinox is the Divine Feminine, the energy of creation and growth. The Divine Feminine is a force that is present in all of us, regardless of gender, and it represents the power to birth new ideas, new projects, and new relationships.
During this season, we are called to honor the Divine Feminine and celebrate the balance between light and darkness. The Spring Equinox is a time of equal daylight and darkness, reminding us of the importance of balance in our lives.
Embrace Renewal And Rebirth
To embrace renewal and rebirth during this season, it’s important to take time to reflect on the things in our lives that we want to let go of and the things that we want to create and/or manifest. This is a time to shed old habits and patterns that no longer serve us and to make room for new opportunities.
“As the cold winter months come to a close and the days grow longer, the arrival of Spring marks a time of renewal and rebirth.”

A Ritual To Honor The Season And The Divine Feminine
One way to do this is by creating a ritual to honor the season and the Divine Feminine. This can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. The important thing is to connect with the energy of the season and set clear intentions for the new beginnings you want to create.
In your ritual, you might choose to light candles, burn incense, or set up any other elements that help you feel connected to the divine. You might meditate on the energy of the season, offer gratitude for all the blessings in your life, and set clear intentions for the things you want to create or manifest.
As you celebrate the Spring Equinox and embrace renewal and rebirth, remember that the Divine Feminine is always with you, guiding and supporting you as you grow and evolve. By honoring this energy and embracing the new beginnings of the season, you can create a life that is filled with abundance, growth, and joy.
Spring Equinox Ritual:
To celebrate the Spring Equinox, I have shared a simple ritual to honor this season. The bonus item is a personal family favorite.
- Prepare your sacred space. Find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed for a few moments. Light candles, burn incense or set up any other elements that help you feel connected to the divine.
- Meditate on the energy of the season. Take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to feel the energy of the season. Imagine yourself surrounded by new growth and new beginnings. See yourself shedding any old habits or patterns that no longer serve you and making room for new opportunities.
- Offer gratitude. Take a moment to reflect on all the blessings in your life. Consider what you’re grateful for and offer thanks to the Divine Feminine for all the abundance you’ve received.
- Set intentions for the season. Think about the things that you want to create or manifest in your life. Set clear intentions and visualize yourself achieving your goals.
- Close your ritual. Thank the Divine Feminine for her presence and guidance. Blow out your candles or take down any other elements you’ve set up.
Bonus – Plant and nurture new seeds for personal growth. This is a great time to plant the seeds of your intention in both your physical and spiritual gardens. As the blooms manifest physically, take time to honor how they manifest spiritually. Our family spends time together each Spring, carefully selecting the flowers and plants we want to grow in our garden. Then we plant and arrange our garden. As the seasons change, we watch as our intentions grow – together.
I look forward to this Spring tradition every year with my family.
